Our Estate Planning Services
(aka: how we actually help you get this done)
Estate planning that meets you where you are
Most people don’t come to us feeling confident and prepared.
They come feeling:
behind
anxious
unsure where to start
worried they’ll do the wrong thing
afraid they’ll leave a mess if something happens
Our job is not to judge that.
Our job is to help.
We provide comprehensive estate planning with ongoing support, so you’re not expected to become an expert, get everything perfect, or magically stay on top of this forever.
What we help you with
We don’t sell “documents.”
We help you build a plan that works for your actual life.
Depending on your needs, your estate plan may include:
Wills
Revocable living trusts
Powers of attorney
Advance healthcare directives
Guardianship planning for minor children
Planning for incapacity
Planning to avoid probate where appropriate
Coordination of beneficiary designations
Guidance around how your assets are owned and titled
But more important than what documents you have is whether they:
match your life
are properly completed
are findable
and still make sense when they’re needed
That’s where most plans fall apart—and where our approach is different.
How our process actually works
Step 1: A planning conversation
This is where we slow everything down.
We talk about:
what’s worrying you
what your family looks like
what you’re afraid of getting wrong
what kind of support would help you most
You do not need to be organized.
You do not need to know what you “should” have.
That’s our job.
Step 2: Clear guidance and decision-making support
We walk you through your options in plain language.
Not:
“Here are 17 choices, good luck”
or “Just trust us”
But:
what actually applies to you
what matters most in your situation
what tradeoffs you’re making (and why)
We move at a pace that works for your brain and your life.
Step 3: Drafting + review
Once decisions are made, we prepare your documents and review them with you carefully.
No rushing.
No pressure to pretend you understand things you don’t.
Questions are welcome. Always.
Step 4: Making sure it actually gets finished
This is where many estate plans quietly fail—and where we stay involved.
We help ensure:
documents are properly signed
assets are aligned with your plan
nothing important gets skipped because life got busy
You are not handed a checklist and sent on your way.
Why we use a membership model
We didn’t start out this way.
Like many law firms, we used to:
create plans
give instructions
offer occasional reviews
and hope clients would call us when life changed
They rarely did.
Not because they didn’t care—but because life is distracting, emotional, and overwhelming.
So we rebuilt our practice around a membership model, which allows us to:
stay connected instead of disappearing after documents are signed
provide structure and follow-through
support clients who are busy, neurodivergent, or stretched thin
help plans stay current as life evolves
What membership means in practice
Your initial planning is done within a one-year membership
That year includes guidance, meetings, support, and follow-through
You may pay monthly or upfront (with a reduced fee)
After the first year, you can:
continue as a member at a reduced rate, or
step away, knowing you’re still entitled to periodic plan reviews
No guilt.
No pressure.
No punishment for being human.
What this feels like for our clients
Clients often tell us:
“I finally feel like someone has my back.”
“I stopped carrying this low-level anxiety.”
“I didn’t realize how much mental energy this was taking up.”
“I wish I had done this sooner—but I’m glad I did it this way.”
The documents matter.
But the relief matters too.
Who this is a good fit for
Our services are a good fit if:
you feel overwhelmed or behind
you want help, not judgment
you want a plan that actually works when it’s needed
you value guidance and follow-through
you don’t want to do this alone
This may not be the right fit if you’re looking for:
the cheapest possible documents
DIY or “review only” services
a one-time transaction with no ongoing support
And that’s okay. Different people need different things.
Ready to take the first step?
You don’t need to have everything figured out.
You don’t need to know what documents you need.
You don’t need to be “caught up” on adulthood.
You just need a place to start.
Even if you’ve been avoiding this for years.
Especially then.
